The water, the equipment pad and the tile line

Davis Pool Service is a family owned company serving Prosper, Celina and Frisco. Weekly visits keep the water right, repairs and upgrades keep the equipment running, and tile cleaning takes off the scale that weekly service leaves alone.

Weekly Pool Service

Chemicals & Baskets, or Full Service, on a 48-week route with a service limit of 40 minutes per week. Glenn and Destrie Davis run it for pools in Prosper, Celina and Frisco.

Weekly Pool Service and one-time clean-ups
Water tested for chlorine, pH, alkalinity, cyanuric acid and salt if applicable, then treated. Baskets and sweep bags emptied, equipment and timers checked. Full Service adds debris removal, brushing and vacuuming as needed. One-time clean-ups are offered too.
Filter Maintenance
Regular filter cleanings keep your pool clean and clear. Davis Pool Service can pre-schedule the cleanings, so you do not have to remember them or take the job on yourself.
Solar Maintenance
Summer start ups, winterization and draining, and leak repair for pool solar systems. Some 2-story solar systems cannot be serviced, so Davis Pool Service looks at your specific situation first to decide whether the job can be done.

Equipment Repair & Upgrades

Glenn specializes in extending the life of the equipment you already own, and installs new equipment when that is the better answer. Equipment work is done under TDLR #512888.

Pool Repair & Troubleshooting
Anything above ground: plumbing, electrical, pumps, filters, heaters, timers, lights, deck-O-seal / mastic and pool sweeps. The aim is extending the life of your existing equipment to minimize your out-of-pocket expense.
Automation
One-button control of every pool and spa feature from a self-contained load center or optional controllers, including colored lighting and salt generators. No operating sequences to memorize, no valves to open and close, no time clocks to reset.
Variable Speed Pump
A quality pump with adjustable RPM, so you can set it for seasonal peak performance while saving energy. Energy efficient equipment can save hundreds of dollars per year on your electricity bill.
Heater
A high performance Pentair heater that heats the pool quickly and efficiently and lowers your operating costs, installed under TDLR #512888 alongside the rest of the equipment work on the pad.
Filter
Replacing a filter, or only the filter element, can dramatically improve the clarity and cleanliness of your swimming pool. Cartridges already in service can go on a pre-scheduled cleaning plan instead.
Lighting
Traditional lights, standard LED lights, or new color LED lights to set the mood, for pools and for spas. Color lighting can be controlled from the same automation panel as the rest of the equipment.

Pool Tile Cleaning

Weekly service does not remove calcium or lime scale. Tile cleaning is the separate job that does, and Glenn does it himself.

Pool Tile Cleaning
Build-up and stains removed from pool tile and other surfaces with an environmentally friendly soft abrasive mineral, safe for all types of pool tile, then a protective sealant. Typically 4-6 hours; larger pools or heavy build-up take longer.
Fountains and water features
Some fountains, infinity walls and other types of water features can be cleaned too. Call 214.305.4136 and describe yours, and Glenn can tell you whether it is a job he can take.

Chemicals & Baskets covers testing for chlorine, pH, alkalinity, cyanuric acid and salt if applicable, treating the water, emptying debris baskets and sweep bags, checking the equipment for proper operation and leaks, and checking timers. Full Service adds removing debris from the top and bottom of the pool, brushing as needed, and vacuuming or using a leaf master as needed.

All basic chemicals are included. Algaecides, phosphate removers, shock, calcium hardness, stabilizers and salt are invoiced separately if they are needed.

The service limit is 40 minutes per week. The water level also needs to be at least half-way up the tile line for the visit to go ahead.

Davis Pool Service operates on a 48-week schedule. We are closed for business the week of Thanksgiving and the week of Christmas.

Invoices are billed on the 15th of each month for that month and are due on the 30th. There is a $35 fee for each returned check. Service may be ended by either party with no advance notice, and the invoice is prorated for the service received that month.

No. Weekly service does not include automatic pool covers or their components, and it does not remove calcium or lime scale. Scale on the tile line is handled by our separate tile cleaning service.

Typically a cleaning ranges from 4-6 hours. Larger pools, or tile with excessive buildup, take longer. We use an environmentally friendly soft abrasive mineral that is safe for all types of pool tile.
